Details:

Bachelor of Arts in Music. Four years. Major studies in performance (classical, jazz, opera, Scottish piping and drumming), composition, choral and instrumental conducting, music history, theory, pedagogy.

Institution Notes:

This liberal arts and sciences college was founded in 1844 by Freewill Baptists, but has been officially non-denominational since its inception. The music department is housed in the John and Dede Howard Music Building. There is a Hillside Academy that offers music tuition to young people.
