Institution Notes:

Founded in 1887 as a teachers’ college, the University gained its current name and status in 1966. The music department is housed in the Caudill College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences. The University’s Operaworks program provides experience for voice majors by presenting opera into public schools, the local community and abroad. Member of the National Association of Schools of Music.
