Details:
Bachelor of Arts in Music. Four years. Studies in performance (classical, jazz), jazz composition and arranging, music history, theory, aural skills, pedagogy, music education (with choral and instrumental conducting).
Institution Notes:
A liberal arts co-educational college of Mennonite heritage, founded in 1887, thus being the oldest Mennonite college in North America. The College organises an Academy of Performing Arts which offers music and dance tuition (including a Suzuki school for string instruction) to young people and interested adults in the local community. There is an active opera program.
