Institution Notes:
A private liberal arts college with Methodist affiliation, founded in 1853. The College has instigated a block plan calendar known as 'One Course at a Time', enabling students to focus on one single course each three-and-a-half-week block, then engage in a new subject after a four-day block break. Music students have the opportunity of participating in the Chicago Arts Program - a 15-week semester involving exploration of the arts activities available in Chicago.
