Bachelor of Arts in Music. Four years. Emphases in general music studies, performance, (classical, jazz), composition, music education. Studies include music history, theory, aural skills, music technology, choral and instrumental conducting.
Institution Notes:
A private college liberal arts and sciences college supported by the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America. It was founded in 1860. Facilities include the 1,600-seat Centennial Hall, Wallenberg Hall, Hamann Concert Hall, Bergendoff Hall of Fine Arts, Ascension Chapel and Larson Hall. There is an active opera program. Member of the National Association of Schools of Music.
