Institution Notes:

The Conservatorio was founded in 1920 and is a university-equivalent institution offering music programs at tertiary level. There are three other branches in Buenos Aires. Beside the professional program it also offers activities for the community – workshops in charango, popular singing, popular composition, choir for adults, instrument and aural training for adults, and a junior program for young children between the ages of 8 and 13.
