Institution Notes:
A private liberal arts college of Presbyterian heritage founded in 1958. By arrangement with Circle in the Square Theatre School in the Broadway district of New York City, Eckerd College students may move after years one and two to New York to complete their junior and senior years to finish with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatre. Conversely, students who complete their first two years of training in acting or musical theatre at the Circle in the Square Theatre School may transfer to Eckerd College to complete a further two years of musical theatre training to finish with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Musical Theatre from Eckerd College.
