A private university founded in 1934. The College of Fine Arts consists of divisions of music, visual arts, theatre and dance. There are some fine performance spaces. On campus is the house lived in by Frederick Delius during his time in Florida, containing Delius memorabilia. The library holds an archive of the works of Delius (including some original scores) as well as all the published scores and literary works of Aaron Copland bequeathed by the composer. Member of the National Association of Schools of Music.
