Institution Notes:
A private, state-assisted university founded in 1743. It gained its current name and status in 1921. Facilities include a number of fine performance spaces in the Amy E du Pont Music Building and the recently opened Louise and David Roselle Center for Arts. There is an active opera program. A collection of early period instruments is held by the School. Member of the National Association of Schools of Music.
