Institution Notes:

A state-supported university established in 1876 and is the flagship university of the University of Colorado system.The College of Music was founded in 1920. The music library has digitised over 900 titles from its sheet music collections as the University of Colorado Digital Sheet Music Collection. There is an American Music Research Center which serves as the archive for the College’s collections of American music, including the Glenn Miller Archive. The Entrepreneurship Center for Music offers workshops, internships and courses for credit in the areas of communication, business, marketing and administration. A Musicians Wellness Initiative has been introduced to increase proficiency and prevent injury in student musicians. It organises programs in Alexander Technique and Body Mapping.
