Bachelor of Music. Studies include performance (solo, jazz/popular, folk, early music), choral conducting, composition, Catholic church music (level C), arts management. Bachelor of Music Education. Studies in instrumental and vocal pedagogy.
Institution Notes:
The Conservatorium can trace its history back to 1856. In 2005 it was authorised to offer university degrees which are awarded by the Mozarteum University of Music in Salzburg. The Conservatorium library holds a collection of folk music from in and around the Lake Constance area. Feldkirch is located in a wonderful alpine setting. A preparatory program is offered for those wishing to enter the degree courses, as well as programs for interested adults in the local community. An active member of the Association Européenne des Conservatoires, Académies de Musique et Musikhochschulen.
