Details:

Kodály Certification Program. A three-level intensive summer program of solfège, conducting, folk song analysis and movement based on the Kodály approach to music education. Level I, II and III certifications are awarded for successful completion of the levels.


Institution Notes:

Originally founded in 1949 as Los Angeles-Orange County State College, this institution gained its current name and status in 1971. The College of the Arts offers programs in art, dance, design, film and electronic arts, theatre arts and music. It houses the University Art Museum and the Carpenter Performing Arts Center.
