Institution Notes:

A state-supported university founded in 1899 as Northern Arizona Normal School. It gained its current name and status in 1966. The School of Music houses a number of fine performing spaces and operates a flourishing opera program. A preparatory school offers private music lessons as well as Suzuki violin and viola tuition. The music department organises a Community Music and Dance Academy offering programs for children and interested members of the local community.
