Institution Notes:
Miles College is an historically black college, founded in 1905, with roots in the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church. The music program was established in 2003 and it also offers courses in performance and music literature for non-music majors. In addition to its traditional full-time student programs the College offers evening and weekend courses for working students who wish to continue study towards a degree.
