Institution Notes:

The Conservatorio can trace its history back to 1866, and gained its current name and status in 1936. The library holds a number of autographed manuscripts and first editions of violin concertos and operas. There is a preparatory program for students wishing to enter the professional program. The Conservatorio offers music tuition to young people and interested members of the local community. An active member of the Association Européenne des Conservatoires, Académies de Musique et Musikhochschulen.
