A music school organised by the municipality. It can trace its history aback to 1857. There is a Laboratory of Audio Recording - Video and Computer Music. The library holds an extensive collection of photographs, recordings and cassette tapes of local popular music and musicians as well as ethnomusicology materials. Inaddition to the professional program the Conservatorio offers music tuition to children and interested members of the local community. There is a second campus in Castelnovo ne' Monti. An active member of the Association Européenne des Conservatoires, Académies de Musique et Musikhochschulen.
