Institution Notes:
The Conservatorio can trace its history back to 1858. It gained its current name and status in 1999. It is housed in the palazzo, the property of the Gioachino Rossini Foundation that publishes the critical editions of the works of the composer. Facilities include an electronic laboratory for experimental music and the Rossini Conservatory of Early Music 'Croma'. There is a preparatory program for students wishing to enter the professional program.
