Institution Notes:
The Box Hill Institute was established in 1984 and is located on several campuses around the Box Hill area of Melbourne. It offers programs in the Tertiary and Further Education (TAFE) field and is one of the few Australian TAFE programs to offer Bachelor's and Master's degree programs. The Music, Dance & Production division offers programs in Music, Music Business, Performing Arts and Production. There is an emphasis on jazz and popular music performance, song writing, film scoring and audio production. Facilities include state-of-the-art computer labs and recording studios. Graduates of the Bachelor of Music Industry program may be eligible to apply for the post-graduate Bachelor of Teaching degree at a range of universities.
