Originally forming part of the Conservatorio of Avellino, this institution became independent in 1988. There is a Laboratorio Lirico that concentrates on preparing students for work in opera as singers, instrumentalists, repetiteurs, stage managers and directors. The Conservatorio organises a pre-academic program for students wishing to enter the professional program.
