Institution Notes:

The Irish World Academy of Music and Dance (formerly known as the Irish World Music Centre) is housed at the University of Limerick and was set up in 1994, allowing for the co-existence of academic and performance programs at the University. It is involved with community outreach, concerts, seminars, artists in residence and organises a summer school.
